Quality description WHITE OAK / SMOKED OAK[1]/WALNUTS/:

A:       Free from any defects (no sapwood), the colour variation of the lamellas needs to be kept to minimum, occasionally pin knots up to 5mm.

B:       Sapwood up to maximum 15-20% of the surface, sound knots up 10mm – no color matching.

C:       Sapwood allowed without any limits, bigger knots allowed. Bigger repairs allowed.

 

Lamella width:

Standard staves:       38-45mm = little bit less than 7/4″

Sanding:                                   Both surfaces grit 150.

Packing:                                   Individually shrink wrapped, cardboard covered with plastic corner protectors.
